The ProcDuck skill for Claude
One ready-made skill that teaches Claude to fill your ProcDuck catalog (products, NUPCO codes, packing, country of origin, photos and catalogs) and to work the iNUPCO portal for invoices and technical offers.
A skill is a package of instructions Claude loads when the work calls for it. The ProcDuck skill is one file with nine jobs. Seven of them teach it how ProcDuck builds and prices a catalog: where each value should come from, which fields the NUPCO files read, and when to ask you before writing. They work through your Claude connection, so Claude acts as you, under your role. Two more work the iNUPCO portal in your own browser.
The catalog jobs
| Job | What it does | Guide in the skill |
|---|---|---|
| Product creation | Creates products from a price list, an Excel file, a PDF catalog, label photos or tender items, after checking for duplicates and linking the manufacturer. | references/product-creation.md |
| NUPCO matching | Finds the NUPCO codes that fit each product from award history and tender items, shows the evidence, and links only what is proven. | references/nupco-matching.md |
| Product research | Fills packing (unit, pack and case), dimensions, weights, country of origin and shelf life from manufacturer datasheets and device registries. | references/product-research.md |
| Product photos | Finds manufacturer photos that show the exact model, checks their size, and uploads them with the main photo first. | references/product-photos.md |
| Catalog files | Finds datasheets, catalogs and instructions for use, files each under its category, and shares one brochure across several products. | references/catalog-files.md |
| File upload | Uploads files you already have from a folder, a ZIP or the chat, matches each to its product by catalogue number, and never guesses when unsure. | references/file-upload.md |
| Supplier quotes | Records a supplier's quote against an RFQ exactly as quoted, in its currency, or updates cost prices from a supplier price list by catalogue number, and states the exchange rate it used. | references/supplier-quotes.md |
iNUPCO jobs for suppliers
These two jobs run in your own browser through Claude in Chrome, while you are signed in to the iNUPCO portal. The first only reads your invoices; the second fills product and technical-offer forms from your ProcDuck data and submits nothing without your word.
iNUPCO invoice report
Reads every invoice from the portal's Reports page and tells you what is not yet collected and its total, what failed and needs resubmitting, and whether a cancelled invoice was recreated. It trusts the invoice's real SAP status, not the request status in My Requests, and it does not need a ProcDuck account.
NUPCO technical offers
Fills product-creation requests in the iNUPCO catalog and technical offers on NUPCO tenders from your ProcDuck data, and audits which items still have no offer. It asks you before every judgement call and waits for your go-ahead before any submission, and it needs Claude connected to ProcDuck.
Install in claude.ai and the desktop app
- Download the skill's ZIP file from the link we email you; ask for it on Claude skills for iNUPCO.
- Make sure code execution and file creation is on in Claude's settings: skills run on it.
- Open Customize → Skills, choose to upload a skill and pick the ZIP file as downloaded, without unzipping it.
- Ask Claude for what you need in a chat where ProcDuck is enabled.
Claude's menus change from time to time; if the names differ, look for Skills in its settings. On Claude's Team and Enterprise plans an organization owner can add a skill for every member under Organization settings → Plugins & skills, either available to install or installed for everyone.
Install in Claude Code
Unzip the file we email you a link to into your personal skills folder and the skill is available in every project. For one project only, use its .claude/skills folder instead.
mkdir -p ~/.claude/skills
unzip -o ~/Downloads/procduck-claude-skills.zip -d ~/.claude/skillsWhat to ask
You do not need to name the job. Ask for the work in your own words and Claude reads the right guide inside the skill.
- “Here is our supplier's price list, add its products to ProcDuck.” Claude reads the file, looks for products you already have, and shows a table before creating anything.
- “Find the NUPCO codes for this manufacturer's products.” You get each code with its evidence and how sure it is, and only what you approve gets linked.
- “Complete the packing and country of origin for my products that lack them.” Claude shows each new value with its source, and asks you when sources disagree.
- “Add photos to the products that have none.” Claude takes them from the manufacturer's site and avoids marketplace and watermarked images.
- “Attach the datasheet to each product.” Claude downloads the datasheets and files them as catalogs, which is what the NUPCO attachments file reads.
- “Here is a ZIP of our product photos, put each on its product.” Claude matches the files by catalogue number and shows the plan before uploading.
- “Update cost prices from this Roche price list in euros.” Claude matches products by catalogue number, converts at an exchange rate it names, and lists what did not match.
- “How much of our iNUPCO invoicing is still not collected?” Claude reads the invoices from the Reports page and gives you the total and the list.
- “Submit the missing technical offers on tender NPT0071/26.” Claude lists the items still missing an offer and what each needs, fills the forms one by one, and submits only with your go-ahead.
How the skills protect your catalog
- Every value has a source. What Claude cannot source stays empty, because bid files carry the catalog to government buyers: an empty cell gets noticed, a wrong one gets submitted.
- It shows before it writes. For any change touching more than a few products, Claude shows a table of the changes and waits for your yes.
- What is yours stays yours. Prices, MDMA status, SFDA certificates and authorization letters come only from you, and Claude never files a certificate it found online as your company's.
- It never merges or deletes without asking. Likely duplicates come to you as a list with links, representative photos are marked on the product, and anything that contradicts the tender sheet is reported for you to review.
- It ends with a report. What it wrote, what each product still lacks and why, and what only you can provide.
- The portal jobs submit nothing on their own. The invoice job only reads; the technical-offer job fills forms and waits for your word before each submission.
Uploading photos and files
Claude uploads files to ProcDuck through temporary upload links, which needs code execution with internet access: Claude Code has it, and Claude's apps have it when their settings allow it. If Claude says it cannot reach the storage, allow code execution to access the internet in Claude's settings, or at least the address Claude names.
If Claude cannot move the files, it gives you a list of each file, its link and the name to save it under. You then upload them from the Photos & files card on the product page, or together with new products from Import from Excel on the Products page, which attaches each file to the row whose catalogue number it carries.
Keeping the skills current
We update the skill when ProcDuck's tools change, and this page shows the date of the last update. To update, ask for a new link and upload the file in place of the old copy. For everything else to ask Claude, see Working with Claude.
